MONTEREY ARRIVED. NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER. SIMNIA WITH PETROL. RAXGITAXE FOR FINAL LOADING. The Matson liner Monterey arrived at 7 a.m. this morning from Sydney and is berthed at Queen's wharf. She landed 218 passengers and lmiils and has 220 through passengers for San Francisco and wav ports. She will sail at 5 p.m. to-day 'with a further 110 passengers and is due at Suva on Thursday morning, arriving at San Francisco on October 4: The Canadian Australasian Roval Mail, steamer Niagara arrived at 213 ]> m to-dav from Vancouver and is berthed at Prince's wharf. She will eail at S p.m to-morrow for Sydney. in addition to a large passenger list she brought 3090 bags of mail. The British motor tanker Simnia, 0197 tons, arrived at noon to-day from Balik Pa pan with 10,000 tons of petrol for the Shell Company She berthed at Western whart, where she will discharge about half of her cargo, leaving on Wednesday inorniiiT for New Plymouth. The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor ship Rangitane arrived early thus, morning from Wellington and berthed at the Central wharf. She is for final loading here and will sail on Thursday evening for London, via Panama, with passengers and cargo. Matua is due at 7 a.m. to-morrow from Rarotonga with passengers and fruit. She sails at 3 p.m. on Thursday for Nukualofa. (U.S.S. Co.) ♦ Ruahine arrived this morning from Waikokopu to continue loading for London and berthed at Queen's wharf. She will leave for Wellington on Friday. (N.Z.S. Co.) Wanganella, which left Auckland at midnight last Thursday, met with rough weather Hearing Sydney and did not berth until shortly after noon to-day. (11.P.) Malaren is doubtful about sailing this evening, but may complete discharge of guano from Seychelles in time to sail at midnight for Queensland. (A.S.P.) Napier Star is expected on Wednesday from Oiebome to complete her loading for London, sailing on September 27, via Panama. (B.S.L ) Middlesex is due at (! a.m. on Wednesday from Liverpool and West Coast ports with general cargo for Auckland and the south. (N.Z.S. Co.) River Lugar, which arrived on Friday from Java, is dicharging sugar at Chelsea. She goes to Queensland from here. (A.0.F.) Matai will arrive from the Gulf at 11 p.m. to-day. She sails on Wednesday for Cape Brett and Maria Van Diemen lighthouse. (Marine Dept.) Tairoa sailed on Saturday for London and Newcastle-on-Tyne via Panama and is due at London on October 27.
