Grey Lynn.—The monthly meeting of the W.C.T.U. was held in the Salvation Army Hall, Grey Lynn. Mrs. Pace presided and introduced Commandant Newton, who gave a travel talk. Commandant Newton was warmly thanked. Further details of the coming convention were discussed. The meeting closed with afternoon tea, Mesdames Wilson and McClenagen being the hostesses. Mount Eden.—The monthly meeting was presided over by Mrs. Biocklehurst. The president read some very interesting facts from some temperance papers sent from England. A report was given of district executive. The speaker for the afternoon was Mrs. 11. Kaspar.
