FAREWELL CONCERT.
LAWRENCE TIBBETT.
Lawrence Tibbett, the great American baritone, will give the final concert, at' his Australia-New Zealand tour in the Auckland Town Hall to-night. His appearantes have broken attendance records at every place he has visited, and. with extra accommodation in the . hall providing Unprecedented seating capacity, to-night's concert promise* to prove a triumphal farewell for the artist. Altogether he will have given no leas than 54 concerts in the two Dominions, and will have sung over 400 operatic excerpts, popular songs and ballads. All the favourites of Mr. Tibbett's repertoire will be included in his programme this evening and his perform-ance-promises to be unique in every way. There will be an unusual number of items and patrons are again requested to arrive as early as possible o to avoid undue congestion at the doors. 'Seats are available for purchase in almost every part of the hall. This is absolutely the last opportunity Aucklanders will have of hearing Mr. Tibbett on his present tour, as his departure for America on Monday precludes any extension of his season.
