NEW OFFICERS ELECTED. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TAtfMARUNUI, Friday. The annual meeting of tbe Ohura district A. P. H. and Iy Association was lield at Xfho Niho. Mr. N. J. B. Dougherty presiding. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £231 7/7, of which £100 was on fixed deposit. The value of biiildings and" grounds was estimated at £1194. The chairman, in moving the adoption of the balaJice-eheet, said 'that during the past year an additional cattle shed had been erected at a cost of £57, while the industrial shed had been improved. Mr. G. McKinley, one of the original members of the association, was elected a life member, and the following officers were appointed: Patron, Mr. W. K. Williams; president, Mr! C. J. Ryan; secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. Pleasants; auditor. Mr. M. H. Wilks; ground stewards, Messrs. R. M. Kelly, C. A. Manning, G. Stevenson and G. Morgan. A vote of appreciation of the services rendered the show and district by the late president, Mr. C. Friel, was carried by acclamation, and Mr. B. Hall kindly consented to act as secretary during Mr. K. Pleasants' indisposition.
