NEW ZEALAND CLUB.
(The New Zealand Club held a social at 176 a, Symonds Street, on Saturday last. Dancing and competitions were the order of the evening. The competition winners were Mrs. McCord. Mrs. Miss Fletcher and Mr. Double. ; Another interesting feature of the evening was fpr'-non-dancers. The president, Mrs. Bethnhe-McConnell, was assisted by Mr. Double, who acted master of ceremonies.. Music* was. provided by Mrs, McCune at the piano and 'Mr. Neilsen, violin.
