MRS. E. D. M. DOUST
Mrs. Edna D. M. Doust, of The Drive, Epsom, has returned to Auckland after a motor trip through the North Island, in the course of which she spent over a week in Wellington as the guest of Mrs M. Chapman-Taylor, at Heretaunga. While in the Capital City she was entertained at a luncheon, convened by the president of the New Zealand Women Writers and Artists' Society Mrs. A. D. Kerr, M.A., and members of the committee, including the hon. secretary, Mrs. L. V. Phillips (Enid Saunders), and the Misses N. E. Donovan,. Ngata Furlong, and L. Morgan. An afternoon conversazione was also arranged in her honour by the vicepresident of the Women Writers' Society, Mrs. Isobel Andrews, at her home at Strathmore Park. I
At an enjoyable luncheon party, convened by Mrs. Mary L. McLean, there were present: Mrs. Doust, Mrs. E. Freeman, 8.A., Mrs. Mary Henderson, Mrs. Davina McQuarrie, Mrs. E. St. Clare and Mrs. M. Chapman-Taylor.
