THE WAIKATO SEAT.

CAMBRIDGE, this day.
Over 200 members of the Labour party in the Waikato electorate held a meeting at the Leamington Hall during the week-end, when they were addressed by three prospective candidates for the Waikato seat. All the nominees are farmers. Subsequently a selection ballot was held, and it was stated that the candidate would be announced from the headquartens of the party in about eight days' time.
