FOSTER—WALKER.
St. Barnabas' Church. Mount Eden, was the scene of a quiet wedding on Saturday morning, when Miss Margaret Elizabeth (Peggy) Walker was married to Mr. Patrick D. Foster. The bride, who is the cider daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Walker, of Whitianga, formerly of Thames and Auckland, was given away l»v her father, and wore a smart black cloquc suit with patterned tunic blouse, and a chic black felt hat. She carried a beautiful spray of orchids. Miss Barbara Walker made an attractive bridesmaid, wearing a russet tan frock and velonr hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of Iceland poppies. The Rev. O. R. Monteith officiated at the ceremony, and Mr. William Hill was best man. The bridegroom is the eldest son of Mr. arfd Mrs. A. Foster, of Devonport. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Foster will take up residence in Invereargill.
