COMING-OF-AGE PARTIES.
To celebrate the coming of age of their % younger daughter, Patricia, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Finely of Castle Drive, Epsom, gave a delightful dance at the Domain Kiosk on Friday evening. Guests were received in the lounge, which was a bower of beautiful flowers in all shades of lemon and gold. The dance hall and supj>er tables were colourful in the same tonings. Mrs. Finch wore a smart frock of midnight blue ring velvet, the small coatee being trimmed in cyclamen tones. Miss Patricia Finch, the guest of honour, wa.* in an opal blue spotted silk net worn over chiffon taffeta, and a chiffon sash in two shades of petunia. An enjoyable evening was given 011 Saturday night by Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Bell, of 12. Milton R>ad. to celebrate the coining of age of their daughter. Mollie Janet. A party of young people spent the evening at the pictures. Returning home they were entertained by parents and friends to an excellent supper finishing the evening wit&gamaa.
