COMMUNITY SUNSHINE.
TAKAPUNA MEETING
The monthly meeting of the Taka puna Community Sunshine was held in the Alethodist Schoolroom. Airs. Bloomrield presided. The remainder ot the Johnny Alite boxes were opened, the total amounting to £1 16/2. A vote of thanks was passed to local firms and householders, who had allowed the boxes to be placed in their premises and homes. Afternoon tea hostesses were Airs. Winstone and Miss Hardwick. I MOTHERS' CLUB. The annual meeting of the Mothers' Club was held at Sunshine Hous«. when a letter from the secretary stated that the president. Sir George Richardson, and members of the board wished to convey to the mothers their sincere appreciation and gratitude for their work and interest in the association during the year. Airs. Taylor was thanked for her assistance with the girls' evening classes. Mrs. E. S. Winks, •T.P.. was re-elected as chairman: Airs. D. Whitford, vice-chairman; Airs. Lavis, convener for play readings; Airs. E. Taylor, convener of sewing; Airs. Walsh and Airs. Whitford. convener of afternoon tea; Airs. ,T. Shaw, Airs. Gwilliam, Airs. Downey, and Mrs. Karlson, committee.
