METHODIST FUNCTION.
The ladies' committee of the Methodist Children's .Homes held a most successful "bring and buy" in the Pitt Street schoolroom recently. As thirt was the semi-jubilee of the openinp of the first Methodist Home in the Dominion at Mount Albert, special arrangements were made to commemorate the event. The chairman of the district, the Rev. F. Copeland. gave a brief opening address. He was supported on the platform by Mrs. Emerson, Mrs. Peake and Mrs. Aruiitaga.
