1 lie president. Mrs. Lord, presided over a large gathering at the usual weekly meeting held in the club-rooms on Friday. Mrs. Corrin opened with reading ing "the thought for the day." A "Hon \ ovage" afternoon tea was given in honour of Airs, Corrin, the vice-presi-dent. who is leaving on a six months' trip to England. Airs. Corrin is one of the first members of the club and a popular vice-president. Mrs. Lord made her a presentation from all members, to which Airs. Corrin suitably responded. During the day a novelty prize was won by Airs Nottingham and a "ATI"' competition was won by Aresdaines Barratt and Cough. Airs. Rodiwald rendered- a song, accompanied by Airs. Dye. Hostesses for the day' were Alesdames Edmonds, Thomas, F. Cooper and Nottingham.
