OBITUARY.
MISS HELEN MACDONALD. Advice has been received of the death of Miss Helen Macdonald at Pago Pa<jo, Samoa. (She wjis the daughter of Mrs. N. H. and the late Mr. Macdonald, of Apia, and passed away at the age of 27 years. Educated at the Sacred Heart Convent, Remuera, and St. Mary's Convent. Ponsonby, she passed examinations for A.T.C.L. and L.T.C.L. and returned to Samoa, taking up music as a profession. She left on a visit to California and while there accepted the position as "extra" at a Hollywood studio, and was given a part in the picture "Hurricane." which was recently screened here. She became ill about a month ago and decided to return home, believing that a change of climate would be beneficial, but she did not rally and passed away on Thursday last. May 2(>. Mr. Angu's Macdonald, of the Treasury, Wellington. is a brother.
