FIRST SELECTION.
PLATERS FOR TRIAL. I MR. LUCAS GETS BUSY. The following players have been selected by the Auckland sole selector, Mr. V. W. Lucas, to train for the representative team. A trial game will be played at Kden Park on Wednesday:— Full-backs: P.. Killeen (Grafton) and W. Hare (Marist).

Pearnian (Grafton), F. Brady (Suburbs). A. J. Sl.vtield (North Shore). Half-backs: F. Cooncy (Marist), W. Fraiikhniii (I'onsonby). Forwards: T. Pearce and C. Pepper IMnnukau), L. Drake, Lnnge ('Varsity), 1). Whillans (North Shore). J. Barry, W. McGrory, M. MeHugh (Marist). A. Brown, A. Meßeath (Grammar), H. McLean, R. Hull, K. Anderson, C. Pa.<umore (Grafton). Bond, W. Carson, F. Solomon and B. Johnson (I'onsonby), Webb (Achilles). •T. Belli* (Otahuliu). T. Lockington (Grammar) was not available. These players will be required to attend at the Ponsonby sheds for training tonight at 7.45 sharp. Attendance by all selected is essential.
