An excellent programme was pre- • sented at the recent social afternoon ' lield in the Xf«- Womenis Chihroom*. Thoee contributing vocal items were Mesdames Barclay. De. Borgh. Fordie ami i Wood. Mesdames Reid and Harper- i White being: accompanist*. Elocutionary items were given by Mir*; Colo, and a play-reading by members of t'li , drama circle, Mesdame* Dyson. Cr-.»ig and Forrest. The president. «rs. W, B. Darlow, presided. The art* and craft* display featured pewter and other metalwork. the prize for the highest number of point* gafhed during the moiuh going to Mrs. M--Dougall. Mr<=. Ogden vva* prize-winner in the floral display i-.ini]'etit: ■<.:. Tla*te?.-e»! for after:t"on tea were Me*dames MacQuecn and Hurley.
