Evening Wedding.
SKEATES—BUSWELL.
The wedding wan quietly solemnised at St. Andrew's Church, Syniouds Street, last evening of Miss ys L. Bnswell. formerly of d'Mhorne, and Mr. Wilfrc<l H. Skeates. of Auckland. im>«Hhl -mi of the late Mr. Ernest <J. Skeate*.
The bride, who was given away by Mr. Douglas McGregor, wore an attractive frock of beige lace over satin, with eoiriage of rose Im.lri. and a golden «-oronet with small circular veil. She carried an arm bo!H|llet of cream an<l yellow clirveantheinums.
Mrs. Ktliel (Irangt* wa« matron of honour. \v«>Hl - ing an azure blue georgette frock an<l turban of swathed tulle.
Mr. Eric E. Skeates. the bridegroom"* brother, was be*t man. The ceremony was performed by the Kev. P. (iladstone Hugliocs. <;<>l<l an<l riiss< > t a chiysaiitliemll and glowing autumn blooms ,iecorated the chiiivh. anil a r< imila r floral scheme was carried out at Royal Court, wlierut the reception was held. Miss Fai"(|llhar acted as an<l wore a lilttj'k lace and taffeta frock with spray of clover pink roses and black velvet hat.
