MEDAL WINNERS.
C.M.A. EXAMINATIONS. THREE AUCKLAND AWARDS. Three Aucklandens who won gold medals presented by the Cable Makers' Association for highest marks both in practical and theoretical work in the half-yearly examinations conducted by the Wiremen's Registration Board, received their awards from the chairman of the Auckland Electric Power Board, Mr. S. J. Harbutt, yesterday. It is six years since the tion, through its representatives in New Zealand, inaugurated these awards. Mr. Harbutt spoke in terms of praise of the Seddon Memorial Technical College, where each of the winners had attended evening classes. He presented the medals as follows:—
Practical Examination.—A. H. J. Dove, Mount Albert Road, Auckland; J. R. D. Bramley, Farnham Street, Parnell, Auckland.
Theory Examination.—R. H. Thow, Dryden Street, Grey Lynn, Auckland.
