FINGERPRINTS TAKEN.
MAN WANTS THEM BACK.
ACTION AGAINST POLICE. (Special.—By Air Mall.) LONDON, October 22. Return of his fingerprints is claimed by Mr. Bernard Klein, a commercial traveller. And Sir Philip Game, London Police Commissioner, is one of the defendants In an action by Mr. Klein for hearing in the King's Bench Division. Thsrs was a police raid on a .Stepney social' club in Commercial Road. E., last January. Mr. Bernard Klein was among those arrested. The charge Against him was dismissed by the magistrate, the police offering no evidence against him. An order was made for payment of two guineas costs by the police. Mr. Klein is now claiming damages against Superintendent J. J. Lloyd Williams and Inspector John Munro, of Arbour Street police station, for alleged assault, false imprisonment and wrongful taking of his fingerprints; against Sir Philip Game Mr. Klein is seeking an order for ths delivering up of the fingerprints. The defence is a denial of the allegations. together with a plea that the fingerprints have been destroyed in accordance with the usual practice.
