FRENCH WONDER MARE.
WORLD'S RECORD CLAIMED. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, October 4. The second successive win of the French wonder mare Corrida in the Prix de L'Are de Triomphe, which brings her total winnings to £50,000, has led French enthueinste to suggest that she ie the biggest etake-winning mare in the world. Corrida ie by the English Derby winner Coronach.
The Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe, which is run over a mile at the Bois de Boulogne, was worth 500,000 francs last year.
