BIRKENHEAD FUNCTION.

The Methodist Hall at Birkenhead was decorated with spring flowers for the hostesses' afternoon held recently. The committee responsible for the arrangements comprised: Mesdames W. Gatman (president), L. T. Hayward (secretary), Alan Wilson. G. B. Hewson, W. Hubball, C. Lewis, A. Clow and J. Hall. The guests were received by Mrs. Gatman, assisted by Mrs. Alan Wilson and Mrs. O.
