NURSE'S DEATH.
COOK ISLANDS MISSIONARY. (From Our Own Correspondent.) RAROTONGA. The European community of the Cook Islands are mourning the loss of a valued member, Mrs. Wicks, the wife of the Seventh Day Adventist missionary who, after a short illness, died recently. Mrs. Wicks was a trained nurse, and both in the Solomon and Cook Islands many a native woman owes her life to the care and attention always willingly given night or day. Mrs. Wicks' motto was "Serve and be spent," and nobly she lived up to it.
