WIDOW SENT FOR TRIAL. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. After inquiry by the city coroner into the death at Chatswood, a suburb of Sydney, of William Thomas, aged CO, his widow, Mary Cecilia Thomas, was committed for trial on a charge of murder. In a statement alleged to have been made by her to the police, Mrs. Thomas said that at the request of her invalid husband, who had pleaded to be put out of his pain, she had shot him.
