GLASS WORKERS' AW Aim, Hours of work only were agreed upon when representatives of glass workers | of the Australian Glass Manufacturing ; Company, Limited, met their employers 1 before the Conciliation Commissioner, Mr. R. E. Price. Employers' assessors were Messrs. L. J. Lea.sk, W. L. Elliott and I. C. Howard (advocate). Employees' assessors were Messrs. I. Nicolson, E. Gimblett, L. Masters, W. Aston and J. Purtell (advocate). VThe parties came to no agreement other • than that there should be a 40hour vveek, worked from Monday to Friday. Wages or holidays were not agreed to, but provision was made for bonuses to be paid to operators 011 certain machines. The dispute will be referred to the Arbitration Court.
