NAKED IN HOLD.

Young London Woman's Ordeal As Stowaway. REVEALED BY CARGO TIRE. NEW YORK, August 20. A London woman's ordeal as stowaway on an American ship was revealed when the steamer Hybert reached Galveston, Texas. t Esther Worman, 26, mother of two children, hid in the Hvbert's hold when the vessel was lying at Rotterdam. Her aim was to reach her husband, Gus Worman, a boxer, whom she has not seen since 1930. She believed him to be in New York. In company with a second stowaway, Abrani Kiper, who boarded the ship independently of her, the woman spent 20 days in darkness. Unable to endure the terrific heat, which reached 130 degrees, the woman stripped off her clothes. She lived on tinned food and water. When the cargo caught fire she was torced to dress and go on deck. Her hands were badly burned when she tried to put out the blaze. On charges of illegal entry, both Mrs. worman and Kiper were gaoled when the Hybert reached Galveston. Mrs. Worman was ordered to be returned to Holland.
