A two-day man-hunt in the mountains, in which an aeroplane, horses, dogs and trackers collaborated, ended in the arrest of a Spaniard, Ygnacio Ayerza, aged 51, charged with shooting dead his daughter Theresa, aged 18, and her fiance, Julian Galan, 32. It is alleged Uiat Ayerza ana his wife were driving the couple to their wedding when Ayerza quarrelled with Galan and shot him and Theresa, then fled to the mountains. Pursuers surrounded the area, closing in on the fugitive in response to signals from an aeroplane.
