SECOND ROUND.

LEAGUE TOURNEY.

LEADING TEAMS MEET.

RICHMOND AND MT. ALBERT.

The second meeting of Richmond and Mount Albert is the star attraction for the second round of the Auckland Rugby League's senior championship which commences to-morrow. Mount Albeit was the only team to defeat Richmond in the first round and is hopeful of repeating the win. At present Richmond leads Mount Albert rrt Wu pt> ' nts in tlie championship. The curtain-raiser will be provided by Manukau and North Shore and another tine match should be witnessed. The former is a much improved combination, and if the rearguard obtains reasonable opportunities it will be hard to stop from scoring. North Shore has a good set of forwards, but will meet strong opposition from the Manukau pack. The principal attraction on the No. 2 ground will be between Ponsonby and City. The latter has shown improved form, and Ponsonby, on a heavy ground, may find difficulty in winning. Marist should take the honours from Newton in the curtain-raiser. The teams are:— RICHMOND ROVERS.
