BRIDGE EVENING.
OTAHUHU SWIMMING CLUB.
The Otahuhu Swimming Club held a successful bridge evening in its spacious card rooms on Saturday evening, when the attendance of card players showed an increase. Mrs. Turner was the winner of the ladies' section, and Mr. H. J. Verrall was the most successful player in the gentleman's section. Mr. W. Southly was the card room steward, and Messrs. W. Jameson and J. Barclay were in charge of the supper room.
Among those present were: Mesdames W. Southly, Hoskin, Pearse, H. Verrall, A. McLaren, Rule, Elliott, Costell, White, H. Crow, E. Trezise, J. Cooper, Turner, Collins, A. Henwood, H. Fearnley, and Miss L. McGee.
