COW FOR SHILLING.
(Special.—By Air Mall.) tONDON, January 30. A cow was sold for a shilling at an auction this week at Stanley (Durham). The sale of three animals realised only seven shillings. They were the property of Mr. W. Miteheson, a farmer, and were seized bv the County Court bailiff on information laid by the Milk Marketing Board. Some 50 farmers attended, and seven police officers were also present.
