GIG AND CAR COLLIDE.
WOMAN" DRIVER INJURED. When her horse-drawn gig rtme into collision with a motor car driven by Mr. Kiri Kukutai. a Maori, of Tiiakeu, on the fJreat South Road, near Penrose, late yesterday afternoon, Mrs. Lucy E. Morilleau, of 32. Huia Road, Otahuhu. suffered head injuries. Mrs. Morilleau was driving toward Otahuhu when the accident occurred. The impact threw her from her seat to the concrete, and Kefore a passenger in the car had seized the reins and stopped the horse she was dragged some distance. A passing St. John ambulance took the injured woman to the Auckland Hospitnl, but she was able to return to her home later.
