MANGERE BRANCH.
The Mangcre branch of the W.D.F.U. entertained over 100 guests at a very successful garden party held at the beautiful home of the. president, -Mrs. Len Jones, where the begonia house is a special attraction for garden lovers. The size and gorgeous colouring of the blooms was greatly admired by the visitors, the hanging baskets attracting special attention. The artistically arranged fernery also received appreciative attention. Afternoon tea was served and the guests later visited Mr. K. Jones' line vineries, and Miss liennie's picturesque garden. Among those present were representatives of Clevcdon, Auckland and T.akaiiini branches.
