AUCKLAND COMMITTEE.
FORTHCOMING ELECTION
Nomnations for positions 011 (he Auckland Labour Representation Committee will close on February 25 next, and it is expected that there will be keen competition for the various offices.
The president at the moment is Mr. J. T. Jennings, and the committee is without the services of a secretary owing to the fact that Mr. M. Moohan, who recently succeeded Mr. F.'E. Martin, has transferred to Wellington, where he occupies the position of assistant national secretary of the New Zealand Labour party.
The election of officers will be held in March, and voting will be conducted on the preferential system.
