DEFY COURT ORDER. Prepared to Sacrifice Life in U.S. Motor Dispute. REFUSE TO LEAVE WORKS. United Press Association. —Copyright. FLINT (Mich.), February 3. Mr. Justice Gadola, in the Cireuit Court yesterday granted an injunction ordering the sit-down strikers out of the plants of the General Motors Corporation within 24 hours, and restraining picketing.

The sheriff read the injunction to. tha strikers in the tffoo Fisher motor'body plants and they listened in silence and made no demonstration.

The sheriff said the strikers would be forcibly ousted unless they obeyed the injunction, but later he said - he' would consult the Governor, Mr. Murphy, -first.

The strikers in both plants later telegraphed to the Governor stating that they intend to defy the Court's order. "We have decided to stay in the plants,' , said the message. "We'have no delusions about the sacrifices this decision will entail. We fully expect that if & violent effort is made to oust us many of us ivill be killed."

The men. reminded Mr. Murphy of his promise not tc permit force or violence to be used in ejecting them. A union leader said Mr. Murphy had repeated the promise earlier in the day.

The injunction fixes a penalty of 15.000,000 dollars for its violation, to be imposed on. the union, on Mr. Homer Martin, strike leader, and all other officials as well as all the strikers.

One thousand additional troops have arrived, bringing the total to 3300. The new units include light artillery and cavalry. A cordon has been placed around the two blocks in. which the plants arc situated, and the area has been cleared of all pickets and spectators.

Any strikers who leave the plants will be immediately escorted outside the cordon and not permitted to re-enter.
