KOROERE GOLD (N.L.). The directors of Koroere Gold (~5.1i.) report receiving the following report from the mine manager: Ore available from Cnrligan area, 30.000 tons. Riving a value of 1."i,000 fine ounces of gold. The additional 7<'.000 tons of ore in the Koroere Hll lsection would show a milling profit of £1 a ton. MANAGERS , REPORTS. Maerewhenua Goldtields Development.— The secretary reports the following progress since the beginning of the financial year, November 1, 1936: The shifting of the plant and pipes to Golden Gully has been completed and operations In Golden Gully are now in full swing. Since the last report a total of four wash-ups have taken place, which yielded 350z 2dwt of gold, estimated value £252 18/. Thereof Boz 12dwt were taken into the accounts of the past financial year. Out of the balance approximately ooz represented the balance of the tail race at Duffer's Gully, and the remaining, approximately 21oz, is the product of Goldon Gully, and represents 105 hours of sluicing. It is estimated that a further lOoz is deposited in the tussocks trap at the tunnel, which will hp washed up at a later date. The option extension had expired on January 31, but a further free extension of six weeks lias been granted ou application from London.

Mining House Concessions.—The secretary reports the following progress since the commencement of the financial year November 1, 19CC: Gold production on Adams' area was in progress during such time as the water supply permitted, and only 70 hours' actual sluicing was done, with a yield of 21oz 3dwt of gold, approximate value £].-)4. The approximate mine expenditure, including mine manager's salary, amounted to £110. Drilling opera , - tions on the Taipo flats are now in full progress.
