CEYLON TEA REPORT.
At the usual weekly sale of Ceylon tea held on the 2nd instant, the quantity placed under offer amounted to 1,100.000 pounds weight. Quality at the sale was generally; irjreguhHv with a number of grades unchanged. , At the gale the demand was inclined to be on the small side, and the market was slightly easier. Commons and Price broken Orange Pekoes showed a reductiou of Y*d per lb. plain 8.0.P.'s and firet classic broken Pekoes we're firm, and fine broken Orange Pekoes declined %d per lb. , Next week's sale is expected to amount to 1,550,000 pounds weight.
