RESTRICTIONS ON TRADE. British Official Wireless. (Received 9.30 a.m.) RUGBY, January 27. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, said in the House of Commons that no actual negotiations at present were taking place for the relaxation of trade restrictions as the result of the currency agreement between Britain, France and the United States of last September. The British Government would continue to keep in contact with the other Governments concerned and every opportunity would be taken to promote the policy which was set out in the agreement.
