MOTORISTS GAOLED.
INTOXICATION CHARGES
ONE LICENSE SUSPENDED. (Bj- Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, tliis day. Two men were charged with being intoxicated in charge of motor vehicles before Mr. J. H. Luxford, tS.M., in the Magistrate's Court to-day. Both accused pleaded guilty, and both were sentenced to seven days' imprisonment* Leslie William le Roy, driver, aged 37, a linotype operator, was ordered to have his driving license endorsed. Leo. Tertius Levy, aped 32, a mechanic, whose light truck was stopped by a constable who sprang on the footboard and threw the engine out of gear on noticing the vehicle's erratic progress* also had his license suspended until May 31.
