NEW KING AND PRINCESS
LOXDON, December 13. Tlie "Daily Telegraph" says tlie British Broadcasting Corporation is understood to be preparing for the possibility that the new King mav follow his father's example and broadcast to the Empire on Christmas Day. The suggestion that Princess Elizabeth should broadcast, which was frequently made during King George the Fifth's reign, is also likely to be reviyed. The first reference to Queen Elizabeth as "the Queen" is made in a Court Circular, which announced: "Queen Mary subsequently visited the Queen at No. 145, Piccadilly."
