BROKE OWN RECORD.
LONDON-GLASGOW EXPRESS. (Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, November 17. Breaking her own record the L.M.S. express, bound for London from Glasgow, took 5 hours 44 minutes, an average of 70 miles per hour. highest speed was 95 miles per hour, despite the fact that she had to haul an extra 30 tons. On the combined journey of 800 miles the express averaged 69 miles per hour.
