AUCKLAND CLUB.
GREAT NORTHERN DERBY. It was thought desirable by the Auckland Trotting Club, in the interests of the sport and owners, to alter the date for the running of the Great Northern Derby from the club's December meeting to the meeting to be held in February, and owners were notified accordingly. It is regretted that certain technical difficulties have arisen which prevent the club from meeting owners in this respect, and it is necessary to revert back to the original conditions of the race. Owners are now advised that the Derby referred to -will be run on the second day of the club's December meeting. The second and final payments will now become due and payable on Friday, December 4, when general nominations for the meeting will be taken, the programmes for which will be published within the next few days.
