Gay Sister has filled out appreciably since coming to Auckland ana she should not be long in reaching hei best form. Dick Redmond trotted in great style and lie may be given a run at Claudelands early next month. Aerial Bell sprinted half a mile in 1.16 and later got to the end of a mile and a quarter in 3.7. This novice is shaping up well. , Silver Watch, who has just returned to work, was allotted several rounds at a useful pace. He is as yet very big in condition, but is looking well. Dilfashion was sent two miles. He ran the first mile in 2.20. the mile and a half in 3.42 and the full distance in 4.53. He trotted without mistake and hit out freely. , Charteris Bay and Queenie Direct, both in saddle, were given a run over a mile, but the latter soon commenced to gallop. Charteris Bay ran his first half in 1.6, and the mile in 2.13 4-5. It was a sound effort and he should not be without prospects in the saddle event to be decided at the Waikato meeting. Bingen Crest was not after time while traversing a mile and a quarter, but ran his last half-mile in 1.16 3-5. He is looking well and has a pleasing action Travis infused a lot of dash, into his work, but was not strapped up. He has never looked in better order.
