In tlie House of Commons, Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd, Under-Secretary, Home Office, replying to Mr. Vyvyan Adams (Con., Leeds) said the Police Commissioner, Sir Philip Game, had reported that the special measures taken had definitely reduced the gross forms of anti-semitism in the East End. ! Fascists had not relaxed their efforts t; to rouse feelings against the Jews. The [ police would use every effort to stop 3 these mischievous activities. ' Mr. Lloyd added, regarding the wear- ; ing of uniforms, that he could not anticipate next session's legislation. ; Further questioned, he said the Home ' Secretary was considering whether it was desirable to amend the law to prevent j extremists breaking up political meetings.
