jr. A TICK LAND-BORN WOMAN. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) . ' WHANGAREI, Monday. Mrs. Mary Gunson, who lives with her daughter, Mrs. Horace Weaver, of Kauika Road, and who celebrated her ninety-fifth birthday on Saturday, is possibly the oldest living person born of white, j I rents in New Zealand. She was born at Tangiteroria on October 10, 1841, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dwyer, natives of Dublin, Ireland. She has spent all her life in North Auckland. Seven. of Sirs. Gunson's family are still living, namely, Mesdame's H. ea\er, M. Williams and W. A. Lovell, - isses Agnes and Frances Gunson, and Messrs. W. and G. Gunson.
