COUNTY BY-ELECTION.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE PUKE, this day. The results of the election held yesterday to fill a vacaucy on the Tauranga County Council for the Te Puke Riding, caused by the resignation of Mr. D. S. B. Heather, were as follows: — George 1 Parker Spratt, 87 votes; James Henry Evans, 74 votes; Cyril John West, 48 votes.
