On the Plough/ Inver jumped away two lengths in front of Valamito at the six-furlong post and although they finished together in 1.18 3-5, Inver was doing the better at the end. Ebb and Flow and Lapis Lazuli reeled off half a mile in 545, Ebb and Flow having the advantage at the close. Nun Nicer, after beginning slowly, covered six furlongs in 1.20'3-5. Over a similar distance Surella registered 1.19, doing his work well. Merry Lap and Lord Willonyx were sent a round, while Benighted was given similar work.
