OUT ON LICENSE.
SHOPLIFTING ADMITTED,
On charges of stealing a wallet and scarf valued at £1 4/5. and a pipe, pen, pocket book and pencil, valued at 8/4. George Cunningham, labourer, aged o<2, pleaded guilty in the Police Court this morning.
Sub-inspector Fox snid it was a case of accused Groinpr into a shop and stealing the articles. Accused, when apprehended, said he was drunk. He had a long list of convictions and had been declared an habitual criminal. Mr. Wilson remarked that accused was out on license, and sentenced him to one month's imprisonment.
