SOCIAL EVENING.
" • I Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Mayson, of Rawene Avenue, Westmere, assisted by Mrs. W. Cilrtis, tendered an enjoyable evening to members and friends of the Grey Lynn Bowling and Croquet Clubs. Happy hours were spent in playing bridge and 500, indoor bowls, and various competitions. Winners were: Bridge, Mr. Lang; hidden number, Mrs. Moran; 500, Mrs. White; hidden number, Mrs. Mincliem. On behalf of some 70 guests Mr. Walker, president of the Grey Lynn Bowling Club, paid a warm tribute to Mr. and Mrs. Mayson and Mrs. Curtis for their hospitality.
