FARMS AND INTEREST.
Reading Mr. Poison's complaint re the farmers who suffer hardship 011 account of borrowing, I would like to ask if those who loaned to them suffer also. I am one who saw nearly £2000 in interest wiped off an estate because the man who owed the amount had put money into two other farms, while ten years has elapsed since he paid any interest at all. Meanwhile I have had to pay on loans raised in town to live on and pay interest all the time. Is this fair? E. T. KIXG.
