CAR CAPSIZES.
TWO MEN KILLED.
OTHERS ESCAPE INJURY-
ACCIDENT ON BRIDGE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Two men were killed and five others had a narrow escape fl'om serious injury when a motor car overturned into a creek in Weka Pass, North Canterbury, about 0.30 this evening. Those killed were:— Mr. Robert Moulton, married, of Clifton Street, Adding toil. Mr. Frank Chapman. The car was driven by Mr. Moulton, and was coming, from Lewis Pass camp, where the seven men in it were 1 employed. After passing a bend in Weka Pass it struck the side rail of a br-dge and turned over into the creek. Weka Pass is between 40 and 50 miles north of Christchurch. WOMAN CYCLIST KILLED. COLLISION WITH LORRY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Thursday. As the result of ?n accident at the corner of Guy ton Street and Victoria Avenue this evening, Miss Constance Bridges, single, aged 22, died in the Wangaiiui Hospital five minutes after admission. Apparently she was cycling up Victoria Avenue and came into collision with a heavy benzine lorry. Her chest was crushed. BOY FATALLY SCALDED. (By Telegraph. — Press Association." DANNEVIRKE, Thursday. Fatal scalds were ruffered to-day by the four-year-old son of Mr. J. Olsen, of Ngamoko, near Norsewood. The child was in the milking shed on his parents' farm, and upset a- bucket of boiling water over himself.
