WORKMAN KILLED.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) TE KUITI, Wednesday. As a result of a fall of rock \sdlile he was working in a quarry near Mapin, 20 miles south of Te Kuiti yesterday, Mr. Frederick Williamson was killed instantly. A fellow workman, Mr. W. Hansen, had a narrow escape from inBlasting had been carried out in the quarry, and Mr. Williamson was inspecting the rock face where a shot had been fired, when a quantity Sf rhvolite fell and struck him. Mr. Williamson, a married man, with three children was aged about 34 years.
