PRIESTS STRIKE FOR BACK PAY.
ISTANBUL. Armenian Gregorian padres of the Church of Galata went on strike here, refusing to say Mass until they had received overdue salaries. After three hours of negotiations with the Armenian ]iatriai'i-ate, the striking priests agreed to say the Mass on the promise that they would be paid in full.
